Will of the Elizabeth Hawkins


"In the Name of God , Amen ! I, Elizabeth Hawkins, the County of Roane, State
of Tennessee, considering the uncertainties of this mortal life and being of
sound mind and memory, blessed by  an Almighty God  for the same, Do make  this my
last will testament and publish the same in manner and form that is to say:
 

First I give and bequeath to my beloved son Willis Breazeale, my rights to
a negro women, Cate, and her five children,  Fancey, Rose, Billie, Nance and
Lou and one  horse, one cow, one bed and part of furniture to  him, his
heirs and assigns.  And I further give and bequeath  unto to my eldest  son,
Wood Breazeale, $1.00,  having previously given him his share of
my estate.  And I further  give and bequeath unto my son, Henry Breazeale,
one bed and part of the furniture, And and unto my beloved son Willis,
first above mentioned -  the residue of my estate and hereby appoint him
my sole executor--hereby revoking all other informal wills made by me.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and  seal this thirteenth
day of December, in the year of our Lord 1810.
