Will of Benjamin F Breazeale
  Apr Term 1850

  In the Name of God Amen!

  I, Benjamin Franklin Breazeale of the State of Tennessee in the County of
  Roane being, in  sound mind & memory thanks be given to God for his mercy ,
  and calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is ap-
  pointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my Last Will and
  Testament. That is to say principally and first of all I give and re-
  commit my soul into the hand of that  holy God who give it and my body I
  recommit to the earth to he buried in a decent Christian burial at the
  discretion of my executor nothing doubting but at the general resurrec-
  tion I shall receive the same. by the merciful and almighty power or God.
 and touching such: a wordly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless
   me in this life I give devise, & dispose of the same in the following
manner & form, First, I give and bequeath to my son Henry Willis Breazeale
all my lands, plantation & premises including the plantation where I now
  live, and all my other lands according to the several deeds of conveyance
  for the same as the title therefore will more fully show & further it is
  my will that all my other property of any kind be sold & put to interest
  & that my executors, or executor do pay an equal part of the same to the
  lawful heirs of Owen - Gentry & Patsy Gentry his wife & also the lawful
  heirs ofCharLes Bogart & his wife as said heirs come of age further I do
  give and bequeath to Owen Gentry & Patsy his wife five dollars & to
  Charles Bogart his wife five dollars to Thomas Dawson & his wife and
  also five dollars to Robert Davis & his wife & this I do certify and
  confirm as my last will & testament for the execution & the performance
  thereof I do appoint my true & trusted friends Jospeh Rhea and Henry
  Bogart as my executors.
 

  An accounting by the executor is recorded in Book E, page 426, the Decem-
  ber term of court 1853 as follows:

  Be it remembered that on this 28th day of 9 November 1953, Personally
  appeared before me Austin L. Greene, Clerk of the County Court of said
  County, Elijah  W. Breazeale administrator with the will annexed of the
  estate of Benjamin F. Breazeale deceased; and made the following return
  and settlement to wit

  From the inventory of said of personal estate returned at July term 1850
  of Roane County court said administrator is chargeable as per said return
  this sum $353.39.

  The inventory of debts reported at same term returned all bad he still
  reports that he has not been able to collect any portion of them conse-
  quently they are not taken into this account of settlement
